DSPM 0800 - Elementary Algebra
Prerequisite: Basic Mathematics or demonstrated proficiency on the placement exam.; Description: Designed to provide students the necessary skills to be successful in Intermediate Algebra. Main topics include: operations with polynomials, real number system, operations with real numbers, linear equations and inequalities, factoring polynomials, and rational expressions and equations. A Texas Instrument graphics calculator is used. NOTE: Developmental Studies 0800 courses are computer-based.
