DSPM 0850 - Intermediate Algebra
Prerequisite: Completion of elementary algebra, DSPM 0800, two years of high school algebra or recommendation of advisor.; Description: Designed to provide students the necessary skills to be successful in college level mathematics. Main topics include: roots, radicals and complex numbers, graphs, relations and unctions, quadratic equations and inequalities and systems of linear equations. A Texas Instrument graphing calculator is used. NOTE: Developmental Studies 0850 courses are computer-based.
